The year 2025 will be a Jubilee year for the Church. These special celebrations, occurring every 25 years, are dedicated to inviting the faithful to renew their faith in God through deeper prayer, love of neighbor, and a renewed commitment to discipleship and reconciliation. Pope Francis has chosen the theme "Pilgrims of Hope" for this Jubilee, a powerful call that inspires us to be signs of hope in a world that is in great need.
The Diocese of Brownsville will be offering several opportunities for the faithful to celebrate this special year!

Built in 1859, the Cathedral is the oldest church in the Diocese of Brownsville and is over 160 years old. The Cathedral serves all the Faithful of the Rio Grande Valley.
